We are an independent energy consulting firm dedicated to advancing the technical and business cases for low carbon building energy and infrastructure investments. We’ve worked with clients across multiple sectors and scales, from the earliest visioning stages of a new development project to the detailed design of building retrofits.
We help project teams sift though the noise and complexities of the energy transition to make real progress. Our mission is to build, project by project, the clean, reliable, affordable energy systems that can serve us for years to come.
Leadership
Anne Shellum, Founder and Principal
Anne is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with broad experience in energy consulting and engineering. She has led the energy vision behind award-winning projects with global engineering consulting firms Arup and Buro Happold, progressed urban technology solutions with Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, and developed energy software products for Google. Anne served as Co-chair for the AIA New York Committee on the Environment, and has taught courses in energy systems design at Columbia University. She is a co-inventor on a demand management software patent, and lead author on a number of publications including the Urban Climate Change Research Network Third Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities.
